It is a version of Ashtanga yoga, modified and adapted for citizens in big cities, as there is a maximum of physical practice and minimum of meditation and mantras. An American Beryl Bender Birch named this type as “power yoga” in the middle 90s. This physical practice involves all set of muscles in work equally, increases mental stability and concentration. It is the most “sportive” type of yoga, which makes you more flexible, neat and stretched. Power yoga develops force, stamina, improves posture, keep your body in tonus and helps to get rid of graspers.
