Sensitive skin: recommendations on winter care

Winter period is a challenge even for a healthy skin, because it is the time of cold weather, when wind and snow blow in the face, central heating produces dry atmosphere and the temperatures fluctuate dramatically. Our article will shed some light on how you can maintain youthful and beautiful skin in winter.

If you have problem skin, winter can become a tragedy for it, because skin problems tend to aggravate during this season:
  • Temperature fluctuations are very harmful to sensitive skin; it can get covered with microcracks and areas of redness
  • Dry skin starts to lose even more moisture in winter. Due to severe frost, winds, and central heating, it begins to scale and even to crack
  • Oily skin lacks vitamins and nutrition, which leads to the increase of oil gland activity and can result in a rash
  • Problem skin, suffering from acne and pimples can become inflamed even more
  • Fading and ageing skin becomes more wrinkled due to dry air, the appearance of spider veins is possible.
